Kampfgruppe StahlKrieger regulary fields in public displays a 'Verwundetennest' which is the first stage of identfying combat wounds in the field of battle. The next medical treatment would perhaps be at the Hauptverbandplatz, set up anywhere up to 10km near to the regimental HQ, and would conduct amputations, stemming the flow of blood, the hopeless cases are treated with morphium to soothe the pain. Soldiers may be transferred from the Truppenverbandplaty to the Feldlazarett for patients that need emergency surgical treatment which need a short post-operation recovery time. We have members that actively re-create the Verwundetennest and am inthe process of building a Truppenverbandplatz wherby members can either be 'Medics' 'Nurses' or indeed 'Field Police' to ensure order is maintained in such a hectic environment, akin to the real situations . The Verwundetennest was set up by medical soldiers of the platoon right behind the frontline ( ~100m). Stretcher bearers (Krankenträger), auxiliary stretcher bearers (Hilfskrankenträger) or comrades recover the wounded and bring them to the nest which is equipped with first aid material.
